Greenmech or Jo Beau??

I'm getting fed up off having to do a 75mile round trip to hire a chipper, out of 10 jobs I needed one for 8 of them!

What do people recommend? I'm after a 4inch capacity and have whittled it down to a GMech CS100 or JoBeau M400, which should I go for? There is a new GM dealer near me who I'm sure will be able to do me a deal, what kind of money should I be able to get a new one for or would you go second hand?

Cheers

Look at the wee chipper thread mate. I would say go for the one who's dealer is closer to you.

Thanks! No just 100% Cocker. Bloody good working gundog actually, coming up 2yrs next month.

Sorry, just the spitting image of one of our friends dogs who we refer to as a Sprocker! We've got a springer and i'd like to use her as a gun dog but I honestly think she is just too stupid:laugh1: Suppose i'd better give her a chance as she's only 9 months old at the mo so still just bouncing around being excited by everthing. Our rottie in my avatar would be a great retriever if he would bring stuff back and not just eat it:lol:

cant really fault the greenmech tbh. you will have some teething probs but it will be you not the chipper. some ramps, a pusht big brush for hedging and jaggies, and sit back and watch the jobs roll in and your wallet fill up, the stress will drain away and more time for everything else.:thumbup1:
