If you have 62 cu metres you should have 10,106 logs. If it was beech I would expect to get 42 cu metres out of 26 tonnes. I think the common calc is 1 tonne off green beech turns into 1.6 cu metres of loose logs.

Are you not worried about condensation within the containers?

ive had trouble doing similar

The space between the two containers is fully open at the back and the wind and airflow is great. Dries them out a treat and no condensation.

well done mate, so 52 cube, 104 bulk bags then £60 each. thats a good 2 weeks work buddy. do you have them on pallets to keep the air flowing under?

That's 62 cube steve. I don't use pallets they are laid on hard standing underneath all that sawdust. The yard is on the top of a slope so all the wet ground just drains away. Have had no problems with damp condensation.

Just need to start marketing them now ready for the big rush!!

We did a volue count on your logs we worked it out to 1cube on timber produces 1.72cube of firewood. we store it in 3 cube baskets and worked out in that 40% of the volume is air.:thumbup1:
