Thats a new one on me but I have heard that they have a habit of blowing up at about 150,000 mls but mine will either be long gone or owe me nowt by then

When I was working for a major breakdown service (yellow van:wink:), used to see it quite often, that and non start, no fuel at injectors. As someone else said, crank pulley breaking up too.

Well after saying how good mine has been it'll probably give me a load of jip now and that said if you wan't the ultimate taliban taxi then it has to be the Hilux and I've had one of those too and it took everything that I could throw at it and still didn't miss a beat apart from a UJ when trying to pull a stump out rather than hireing a grinder

Seven years with mine, 170k.

In that time it's had filters, oil, couple of bulbs, bottom crank pulley, lots of fuel and some dents n scratches.

Still drives like a new one.

Try that in a Landy:001_smile:

What are the newer shape ones like, you can get great deals on 56 plate 4 work ones at the mo.

56 reg - 32,000 miles - snug top + £7250 + vat

they seem a good deal, are the new shape ok, what mpg do they get ?

Better mpg and turning circle. No idea of anything else.
