Are Dell computers any good??

I'm currently on a Dell Inspiron, had it about 3months and to date no problems.

 

I've been recommended to get the inspiron 560 ST???

Business machines with business software much better imo; my Wife has a Dell Inspiron (home laptop) and I have a Dell Latitude (business laptop) and the latter is more robust in every way. £ diff says it all tho...

It all depends on what you intend to do on it and remember that you get far more for your money from a desktop than a laptop so if you dont need the mobility go for a desktop.

Im on my second Dell laptop this one is a Inspiron 1720 and was on a deal at PC world a couple of years ago really decent spec for £400. Does everything i need and more!

 

My first one still works a treat but i wanted a better screen as it could only be viewed from straight on.

I know, friends tell me mac is the way to go, but they are also pretty pricey!!! Find me one for 6-700 quid and i'll snap it up.

Just brought a dell inspiron 1564 today for 550 got office and norton 360 from pc world as cant be arsed to shop about.

 

got intel i3 2.13 tripple core like 2.13 times 3 so 6.39 ghz 35% faster then pentium 4 4gb ram 500gb hard drive

 

been using it for all my arb related work as thats all its for and runs very fast looks great

 

i looked at all the pcs etc and this was imo best bang for buck very easy to use also took out pc world cover 8.99 a month i tend to knock things off of things so all cover have a look:thumbup1:
