Carting timber again - Piccies

We had the job of clearing piles of fallen timber from a local wood which had been replanted by a friend. There was alot of wood so we ended up loading the trailer about 2 foot higher than the sides, around 4-5 tonne in weight, the David Brown pulled it out of the woods with ease, we travelled back around 6 miles to our wood yard, i followed back initially in my pickup, i was sitting at 20mph and the db was pulling away from me very slightly, not bad for a tractor over 40 years old pulling that kind of weight!!!

Is there no editing facilities on this forum??

Should of read that we carted piles of felled timber not fallen, alot of ash, oak, birch and pine.

Im hoping the weather is ok tomorrow, ive got 3 loads of logs to deliver, and ive put the 25" chain and rail on my 880 to cut up some big slabs of ash.

Whats everyone else got planned??

Not sure if it interests people on this forum but ive spent about 15 hours at the start of the week chain harrowing and rolling with one of our vintage tractors, trying to sort some of the fields out so we get plenty of nice hay in summer

yes mark, but ive changed the setup, you are allowed a 10 minute window to edit your posts. I had to change this as posts were being edited and deleted long after the conversations had evolved rendering most of the thread senseless.
