Can't use razor wire legally now

razor wire is not illegal, there are conditions of use, but if they are complied with it's legal.

Having spent the last couple of days clearing blackthorn and bramble I'd recommend thinking twice before planting anywhere where you need access, such as along fencing if you need access to maintain it.

But if you want impenetrable, without wire, the humble honeysuckle growing through blackthorn took some hacking back. With the added bonus it's good for dormice.

Anyway, does anyone think the OP is coming back?

Wild Rose, (Dog or Sweet Briar I think, or let's just say Rosa sp.), growing through Blackthorn or anything else is also quite tough to get through. Nigh on impenetrable without tools I reckon.

Less than 50:50 chance of OP returning is my wager.

I've just learned that there's 14 native species of rose, and they're promiscuous!
