I’m after a Picco chain to put on my Echo 2511… it’s a stihl light 14” bar, I purchased a stihl Picco 1/4 1.1mm 72DL that got recommended to go with it and it’s a link or 2 to short, fits the stihl 150 fine but not the echo, maybe it’s a different sprocket on stihl 150 then echo cs2511 I’m unsure! Annoying as I can’t seem to find the same chain but a drive link larger!

any recommendations for Picco chains for a 14” bar stihl

Any decent dealer should be able to make you the chain with the extra links..  chainsaw bars.com did sell them specifically…

personally what I would do is take the echo bar that comes with the saw and lay it over the top of the stihl , mark the bar mount holes on the stihl after butting the ends square and drill new mount holes on. Makes life easier to pick up chains off the shelf for it.

I think you’re asking too much with a 14” bar.

Is the sprocket 1/4P?

We’ve found the best combo to be standard Stihl 10” bar for the 151 with a 57DL chain.

Fits straight on and works a treat.
