Are there any collectors here that would like to start a conversation about your latest project, or a search for a rare part, or simply just chat to other like minded saw collectors and users of older equipment.

or maybe even swap a few tips to others.

On the bench currently I have a couple of Pioneers, 3 Stihs, and should be getting a Remington Logmaster on Monday hopefully.

that brings the total to around 50,  but I got more space so always room for another :thumbup1:

I got 4 of them . 3 up and running 4th work in progress . Also a 72 " Tony Bruno " version . ( 35 watts ) They all have the Celestion " blue backs " and two are top boost . The Tony Bruno has " green backs " .

Not familiar with the Tony Bruno version but the original Alnico blue backs are very desirable , very nice amps. Had an AC50 top which I have always regretted selling.

do you use them?,  crank 'em up now and again to give the neighbors the benefits of them?

If they were the amp Rory chose,, that good enough.

I always wanted to play guitar, but alas with  hands the size of a small digger bucket it was not to be, I can make it make noise,, but I wouldn't call it music by any stretch ! been a roadie in my teens, total disaster, right before a gig vocalist elopes to europe with a girlfriend, I knew most of the material so became the singer, two days before the gig, lead guitarist  gets dumped by his girlfriend and hangs himself,, didn't feel very musical after that.

But on a much brighter note some of the best times of my life have been in the company of Rory Gallagher.
