if you dont know, you shouldnt be using it ,should you !!!!

 

i have proof loaded it tested it low to ground and been climbing on it for 8 months just wondered if it was a documented knot

it works safely imo, it is slightly harder to advance than other knots but it always grips the rope (unlike some other knots) and who sais i shouldnt be using it.

As I said, it grips nicely but doesnt advance as easy so I would far prefer it on a lanyard. Love messing with knots.:thumbup1:

I would have thought so, but as geeky as I am, I'm not a proper nerd.

looks like a cross between a distel and a knut to me, only prob i can see is it looks like you might have a presher point where the leg that comes in the bottem of the raps goes under the other leg. is the ocean polyester rope? how do you get on with it?
