What do people charge for slatted fences per metre I've been doing £90 for a 6ft and £60 for a 4ft that includes material, labour, fuel and disposing of waste. I'm in north Scotland

What do you mean slatted fence? Closeboard?

Back in the day, I used to charge £80 per M for closeboard fencing. Timber prices have gone up a lot since then. I can't see it being worth doing now for less than 120 quid a metre.

4m 'hit and miss' fence at the weekend, reusing the boards with new posts (3"), cross members and top rail and a couple of new boards, postcrete £120 for supplies. Labour costs were endless tea, biscuits, dinner B&B (but it was for mum).
