Surely that wouldn't work anyway as they would just say you should have notified them first?

 

Well I have heard that it has worked for others... never tried it my self. but as you say you may have had to notify them first.

How else would you remove a bt wire that has started to be absorbed by the tree? We took down a v. large Lombardi a while back with three lines running through it. notified BT to take down the wires... they sent out engineers who arrived late and then still didn't take the lines down. Needless to say one of the lines went during the lowering of limbs. I seem to recall the engineer coming out and mentioning that they would put it down as the wire grown into the tree scenario... could be wrong though.:icon14:
