well the other day i was chipping a load of wood and with all the dust in the air i managed to get a bit under my contact lense even with wearing my visor and scratched my eye (corneal abbrasition) can any 1 reccomend any foam sealed glasses or goggles preferely not the ski type ones i have seen bolle x90 goggles with a rubber lip any one used them any advice would be much appreciated

Over the last month, I have had a couple of nasty experiences with saw dust in the eye, including a trip to the doctors.

I remembered mr bullman wearing the 'safe eye' goggles a while back and thought i would give them a go. Since wearing them, i haven't had any problems - even with saw dust blasting my face! get them!

even with bolle safety shades under visor i got a stray bit in my eye while ringing down a large pyrus, couldn't open my eye except with fingers to use eyewash, went to a+e turns out to be a splinter inside upper eyelid, keep my eyes shut all the time now:thumbup:
