Isuzu's are hard to break and the aftersales are second to none, agree they are basic but good work horses. The basic design of the range is the same just uprated for heavier loads. As for 3.5 tonne v 7.5 tonne that depends on what you need to carry. Years ago we had a customer blow a engine on a new 5.5 tonne van, new engine arrived next day, that afternoon the customers second van did the same thing at the same place. Next day the engineers arrived from the Factory in Japan to sort the problem, and worked without stopping until they did. You don't get that service from many companies.

Apart from Greenmech U.K who once sent an engineer (Mac) out to France to fix my Quadchip.

Any update on what van you preferred/chose? We picked up our new Iveco Arb tipper on Tuesday, feels like a proper truck and has all the little extras on like air con, diff lock and loads of useful storage. I’ll keep you updated on how it goes after a month or so of putting it through its paces 👌🏻

No updates.

I have recently visited a dealer about the 6t Fuso after calling three times and emailing an enquiry.

No response so I'll forget those twunts.

It is now the annual French shutdown season were businesses don't give a **** including me.

Nothing more can be done until September as I myself am going away for a month.

Used 7t Iveco are rare and often an 8hr drive away.

The current truck has a rendezvous with an auto electrician in September which I hope will solve a few gremlins until a new truck can be sourced.

In a similar vein.

I have been flirting with the idea of a 55hp Rayco grinder.

So on FB earlier in the week the company that imports/sells them over here does an open day blurb, lots of pictures of the different models on demo etc.

I reply on FB, ‘I have a 35hp one do you do trade ins?’

They reply ‘contact our email at blah blah with your address’

So I do and they reply ‘who are you, what do you want?’

I explain, and they say ‘we’ll pass your details on to your nearest dealer’

Then…..nothing.

The worst salesmen in the world, cannot give your money away.
