The pump is driven via a coupling off the end of the flywheel shaft.

Does the coupling look complete ? Is there enough hydraulic oil in the tank ? Is the hydraulic oil clean or does it look contaminated ? I would check the fittings are tight on the pump in case it's sucking in air ?

Yea the oil does level looks fine had a look at it, possibly about fit for a change but the gasket on the filler neck leaks a lil bit would that cause the issue I was possibly thinking solenoid valve ? I've tried turning the tap in and right out on valve and the tap 90 degrees but nothing I do seems to work

If turning the tap through 90 degrees makes no difference then I doubt it's the solenoid valve at fault.

Take off the pressure hose from the pump at the feedroller control valve and put this into a bucket  , run the engine and check the flow of oil into the bucket  ? It should be a good continuous flow , free of air ?

The pressure hose is the smaller of the two hoses at the pump.

Jase is saying feed pipe from the pump on the engine to the valve block, so you'll know if the pump on the engine is knackered, have two people tho.

One to turn it on/off and one to make sure it doesn't whip out the bucket.
