I was just thinking that. It looks like it is working really well, and smart-as too:thumbup:

I love the silhouette pic where you are chucking the branch to your right.

Plenty of those. I have a groundie who's really good at takign photos, so I think I end up with a bit more that just a bloke up a tree pictures.

I'm gonna have a look at the video this mornign and see if there is anything useable. Probably not!!!!!!

Yep, pollarded the lime and crown lifted one silver birch a couple of weeks ago, then felled the other one but had to do it on a saturday.

Stroud is full of tree police though!! Looks like everyone has just come back from glastonbury but not last years one, more like glasto 1978!! We had loads of complaints from people who then came back later to take all the free firewood!!

Right, I have cobbles together something. Edited out a lot of the chainsaw action cos its just boring!!

Not much interesting but nice day for it. Mostly just jumping the tops over the wires. There five between me and the dropzone but they are pretty much together in one line on that side of the tree.

Only filmed up to tea break. Forgot after that! Actually the last bit was roped down onto the decking but the methods was to experimantal for release here just yet!!

ANd the final trunk was easy to chog down between the lines onto the little patch of lawn below, as shown in the pics. Not worth filming that bit.
