Hi all,

Spotted a very interesting old sycamore the other day (990mm dbh). I've never seen anything like this before on the stem + major limbs - some of it looked like extensive burrs of epicormic, but on the limbs it looked more akin to cankering in places. There were no fruiting bodies anywhere. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Any ideas as to what it could be?

Thanks!

Pretty rude. Certainly not helpful. Like you don't understand why people ask for help from fellow professionals.

Thank you! I remember thanking you on a previous post when something like this happened too 😁
