Hi yes, that is what I think and it has been backed up by the NPTC however I got this from a training provider.

Anyway they are the only ones that are saying this so will just go elsewhere.

I also attach an email from the NPTC.Screenshot_2023-08-17-21-01-55-51_56514063904998099a7290fdb861fa95.thumb.jpg.fddbbc0a248a90bc6ffafcb109cc4be1.jpgScreenshot_2023-08-17-21-08-13-02_56514063904998099a7290fdb861fa95.thumb.jpg.f6d5a4e332bda01339c285bc0a8aa33a.jpgw code numbers 201/202/203.

The current qualifications only allow candidates to fell up to 380ml diameter

I bet you could fell trees of at least a pint on your old cert.

Not far from Cambridge, near the border with Northamptonshire.

There's a newish centre near Kettering called VMT, it's very tempting to do the course near enough to not stay away.

I don’t know anything about them, it all looks shiney and new, and very Arb biased.

It depends on what kind of training you require for your job.

If you want to dig a bit deeper into the timber harvesting side, I would source a Forestry instructor rather than Arb based, I don’t know anyone to recommend in your area off the top of my head.

This is what I thought, I'm sure all boxes ticked but ideally we should also learn a lot from the tales and chat that happen in between the essential training, and I'm less sure about that.

I think it’s still worth a phone call  as they are so convenient to you.
The website seems to indicate  access to good sites, see what you can pick up about the course, who is running it at what their background is, they may hire freelance instructors in specifically to run them.

Interesting  that they aren’t showing dates for CS32’s in the pipeline though.
