Stump grinding teeth

Hi, 

 

I have a small Honda GX stump grinder, just wondering if anyone knows where I can get replacement teeth from and what size they would be from the photos?

They look like 500 series Green Teeth to me. If you're not familiar, have you already turned them? If you take them out and clean up a bit you find 3 flats on the back of the tooth so can go back in with sharp bit at the front.

 

My new ones come from Global Recycling but there are other suppliers and also some reproduction available.

Other question, how many teeth do you have on that wheel? Looks like maybe you've taken some of the holders off, which you don't normally need to do?

Thanks for that, ah it's only got  4 teeth with 2 x holders. That was how I bought it, is it meant to have more teeth on it?

Get your teeth from QRMS. They sell green teeth copies for a lot less

I don't know, every grinder seems to have a different pattern. 4 teeth seems like the minimum you could get away with, if it works without excessive vibration then go for it. I had a Carlton with 12, I'm converting my current grinder to Green Teeth and looks like it will have 6.

Its a little dosko.. the greenteeth version only has 4 teeth and 2 holders..its either quite new or someone has converted it to the later spec by changing the cutter wheel from the leonardi teeth set up. Handy grinder as so light and saves trips back to site.
