This should solve it:

1 remove dpf filter

2 hammer a bit of re bar through it multiple times until the guts fall out

3 re fit dpf

4 drive

(said in jest I’m no dpf expert and eggcept no liability 😂)

Sadly this method is not work anymore🤷🏿‍♂️Unless you reprogramm ECU ,some lads can do it, not easy to find them as well ,ask easteuropean friends polish and Lithuanian guys big masters in this things, but there must be a middle man . And than question about road worthiness will you pass it or not.

I found with my truck that it wont do a self re gen if there is less than a quarter of a tank of fuel and if its due for a service . The injector that squirts fuel into the DPF to burn it out is disabled if there is not more than a quarter of a tank of fuel .

I had a similar thing on my car.  The DPF was clogged causing two sensors to go.  It was a very expensive repair.  Its a diesel car that was just used for frequent short journeys which is a bad pattern for causing problems. Stupidly the automatic gearbox was also in an eco mode, which kept the revs down. I now keep the car in sport and make sure it gets a decent blast or revs once in a while.

Yeah I believe part is how you drive it etc.

I have an older ranger 60 plate no dpf and I fly around in that and oin it but that did block the cat at one point.... no big expensive repairs though.

I would presume my master tipper 66 plate would have one but that seems ok as its always loaded and pulling weight every day do not tootling about. That's my theory anyhow
