I follow a chap on YouTube, his channel name is Christopher Collects. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable, shoot him a DM with details and he’ll let you know if what you have is worth anything over face value.

Some of em could be worth more than face value, as mike says above,  Christopher collects,, i watched a few of his videos and yes they are interesting, some coins where struck with defects, some years are low mintage, these are the ones collectors will pay for, i just recently emptied a tin and put all the commemrative coins to one side and the rest i will go through one day,, its a 1933 (i think) penny you need to find as only about 12 where stamped with that year on and worth about 70 80k,,
