Willow in the background. All the timber in the forefront is the same stuff though. It didn’t have the typical birch style bark but obviously brown like most of the cherry trees I’ve seen.

The alder I have on my drive looks a bit more wrinkled.

 

However I would hazard a guess at 'firewood' - probably hardwood - and the way it has cracks in reasonably dry too, should be OK for the winter. Why do you want to know the brand of wood it is?
