Anyone use a digger with finger bar cutter to cut hedges. been asked to cut some hedges with solar panels near by so can't flail them, was asked to cut them by hand but its a lot of work and would like to make job easier if possible.

Put a finger bar on a tractor mounted hedge cutter much simpler

Yes it would but was think of garden hedges as well.

Had one but sold it on. Couldn't get close to same quality finish as hand cutting.

You also need to be able track and cut without losing power, ruling out most older machines with single pumps.

They have their place, a long run of 5 or 6 ft hedge beside a road or track is ideal, wide back garden stuff with obstacles. Forget it, pure frustration.

Put one on your shovel best of both worlds a digger on tracks in a garden could get messy, pretty good on a pivot steer

If I set it up right I could fit it to both.
