How much do dogs cost these days?

No need to apologise mate but thanks anyway.

My dads last Spaniel was a sprocker.  He was such a great dog, when my dad got ill and was having trouble getting out, he gave the dog to one of his mates who used to run a pheasant shoot.  Rocco was very familiar with the guy as he used to go there and board when my dad went away to visit people.

shame really as I would have loved to have brought him over to Norway, but then again not a shame as he is working and running with other dogs daily.

It was definitely the best thing for Rocco.

good luck with the search and make sure you get plenty of pics up when you get hold of one.  🙏🏼

A price of £1500 for a good pedigree working Springer Spaniel can be reasonable if it reflects a strong bloodline, good health certifications (e.g., hip scores, eye tests), and the breeder's reputation. Factors such as location, market trends, and whether the dog has undergone any training can influence the cost. Ensure the price includes proper vet checks, vaccinations, and documentation of lineage. Comparing this price with other reputable breeders locally can help confirm if it aligns with current market rates. Always prioritize breeders who focus on the welfare and quality of their dogs.
