Appreciate any info on what people are currently paying for stock fencing? Long reasonably straight runs, 1800m.

I’ve been quoted £9.50, which seems pretty crazy?

That's probably about right if it's with 25 year posts. I would expect a bit less if it's straight and level but prices went up a lot in the last two years.

Certainly agree it's about right, assuming it's HT sheep netting with three HT lines of plain wire.

 

Most fencing guys won't touch mild steel which is cheap for a reason but horrible, HT is shockingly expensive but lasts and can be tensioned.

 

You're paying for speed at the end of the day, you can always go cheaper but they'll space the posts further and it'll look awful quicker.
