Hi,

Just been stripping down a MS151.

When I pulled the clutch cover this (damaged) pin dropped out. Never seen it before when maintaining the saw.

Any ideas?!

Is it a needle roller out of the cage perhaps ?

Thanks both of you.

I'll take a look once I get all the casings cleaned up and report back.

Emigrating to Australia, I have three saws, all need to be spotlessly clean 😬

Dan is correct, it is the alignment pin from the clutch cover. It has come out and should be pushed in to the hole in the plastic cover and aligns with the hole marked in Dans pic. Best put it in with a bit of epoxy/loctite etc.

Sorted, thanks!

Obvious when you know, what I thought was damaged is splayed to keep it captive.

Now if this isn't clean enough to get through customs I'm coming home.

1 saw down. 2 to go 🫣
