Question

Hello all, new to this site so hope I'm posting in the right forum.

I have recently cut down a big run of Leylandii and want to kill the stumps and roots. What's the best stuff to

use ?  Thanks.

If they're accessible I'd always pull leylandii roots out. Bit late now if they've already been cut, but it you intend to pull the stumps, leave them three foot high for leverage. They come out fairly easily with a mini digger. I've pulled out huge ones quite easily with a 1.5 T machine. Though there is a knack to doing it. Crash bang wallop doesn't work.

Leaving the stumps three foot high just gives you something to rip boom pipework off with. Low stumps and a ripper tooth, easy.
