Cam belts !!!!!!!!!!

Thats interesting Ian, as the WORST that can happen with a landy tdi engine is that 4 valves get bent....what lump was in the disco?

 

It was a TD5 Tom, its the labour that kill it and then the belt kit, head skim, gasket kit,water pump valves,anti freeze etc, it all adds up to a tidy bill, far cheaper to just have the belt changed. Still cheaper than L/Rover up here at £100 an hour though.

Don't talk to me about Cam belts

The one on my chipper has just broken today

And as normal when something breaks it is before we chipped the pile of brash

had to cut it all up small on the back of the truck old school style

Bet that will cost some to fix now
