Post Brexit Work in the EU

Yeah, that German thing was odd.

 

My understanding is you have to show a firm job offer, and the employer has to show that they can’t find an eu resident to do it.

Effectively starting your own business, ie. Becoming a self employed freelance climber, would involve endless paperwork and sitting in government buildings.
Then getting the Carte Vitale can take months for the healthcare.

 

Could always just do it on the fly for cash, bit risky of course but if I was young I’d take it.

 

Ideally find an Irish grandparent and get an Irish passport.

I’ve been looking for an Irish grandparent for a while now to no avail 😂

 

Looks like I’ll just try and chance it then!
