Chaps, any ideas who sells Hi Viz breathable t-shirts. Ive seen the Stretch-air ones, but there must be someone else out there selling them cheaper than £40 each. Cheers

I got some Hi-viz polo shirts of ebay, about a fiver each, with logo option as an extra. cant remember the supplier, but they were a retailer.

Breathable?

Well I try not to work up a sweat, but they are the aertex type fabric, so arent too bad. Obviously you gets what you pay for, but these seem a good compromise. Just checked, they are 100% polyester.

Dickies do them, yellow or orange with reflective stripes.

£10.40 inc. VAT.

Not sure how breathable they are, mind, 'cos it was snowing when I wore mine for the first time the other week and I had about 6 layers on!

We used the breathable wicking hi-v shirts. We are in the US and got ours from Baileys. I think they were about $7 or $8. The reason I am commenting is because we are ordering shirts again for this summer and we are not getting the breathable/wicking shirts again. We found them to stink very early in the day and they are difficult to clean. We searched on the internet and found the odor to be a common problem. They are making shirts with zinc or silver impregnated to keep the odor down, but those get expensive. Its just my opinion but I am not a fan of those breathable shirts for work shirts.

Having said that, I have long underwear that are made out of the same material and I love them. Whats the difference? I am not sure.... maybe its that we wear the work shirts all summer long in the hot sun compared to wearing the long underwear only in the winter.
