Landyard/ Flipline Work Position Adjuster for Steel Core Flipline

Are there any hard and fast rules for which adjusters can and (more importantly) cannot be used on wire core flip lines? I have a petzel, ISC rope grab (old one) and ART Position 2 amongst others. Is there any no go areas when it comes to teaming up an adjuster with a wire core flipline please?

With the ISC rope grab I believe it can go straight on to a wire core line. The positioner 2 needs the S clutch as far as I'm aware. The Petzl one I haven't a clue.

Is there any reason I shouldn’t use this vertical adjuster on a 13mm wire core flip line?

ART positioner can be used for wire core but you have to change the cam, they are cheap and honeybros sell them

Why is it you have to change the cam ? I have one on a wire core but not sure that I changed the cam …..oops 🤷🏼‍♂️
