Its pure statistics, more men have accidents in regular cars than women, so premiums are slightly higher for men. Obviously women aren't as good as men in larger vehicles ( tell us something we don't know), hence the higher premium.:001_smile:

Hate to admit it but my wife often delivers with the land cruiser and 12'x6' tipper and it's amazing where she can reverse it when she has to.Go for it 88MAN,cheap labour!:001_smile:

have you tryed fully comp any driver over 25 etc, gender doesnt come into then & fully comp is cheaper than 3rd party on older vehicles now (dont know why)

try supermarket.com think thats the one gives you loads of quotes at once online.

the wifes car broke down last week, trust added her to the works policy to drive the landy tipper to get to work for the remainder of the policy (4 months till renewal) for £35 squid.

Hadnt thought of the advantage of getting her to do log deliveries.

Bonus!

the girlfriend drives our tipping landy as much as i do and it only cost me an extra 27 quid to put her on the policy this also covers her on my 90. she would put a lot of guys i know to shame in a 7.5 ton with a chipper too, she can reverse them no probs.
