Coronet oak......have I done the right thing?

Nice Job graham, how much longer do you think it took to do in comparison with a "normal" crown reduction?

 

We did our first cuts on a mature Ash and some of the cuts took around 20 mins each to do!

What you carried out Graham was Natural Fracture Pruning with Coronets and rip cuts......and a great job you made of it.....nice one mate:thumbup:

I'm guessing it took about 1 1/2 hours and would probably take about an hour for a normal reduction.

I don't see what all the fuss is about - most of my reductions look like that.:001_tt2:
