Detect wood burning stove indoor pollution

Recommended Posts

Here are some pictures.
I guess it can leak a little bit if the flames are too tall and/or there is smoke.

I can't smell anything if I keep the flames below the pipe and if I avoid smoke.
The pipe itself has just been cleaned and it's a 200mm diameter about 13m tall, so there should be widely enough draft.

Just as a by the way, I got one of the particle meters for Christmas and I have had it on since then.

When the fire isn’t on it registers about 1.

When the wood burning stove is on it goes up to between 8 and 25.

The surprise was when my wife put on the tumble dryer today it went up to 250.

Make sure you open a window a least a little bit.

When you consider 100m3 typically pass through a wood stove per hour, if the place is too airtight, it can hurt the draft, I guess.
