Just finished felling some big trees in the sub zero temps…limes and London planes. Wondering if there is a source of info on what to be aware of when working on different species.

Limes ok but planes rock hard and prone to snapping ?

Hinges on limes pulled fibres but planes snapped off on a horizontal. Also big branch split when cutting. Thinking maybe high water content was frozen snd saw didn’t go through fast enough

Plane wood seemed much denser.

Also it was Tuesday to Friday

I once got hit on the head by a pine cone in sub zero conditions.

Despite being a Protosser it was an unsettling expererience.

I Googled opportunity's at Lidl shortly after but realised there was no Friday cash jobs, free firewood, Kudos, massive erection from starting an 881 and man glitter.

I work Lundi-Mardi et Jeudi-Vendredi because I've gone native.

 That is all.
