Since this weekend, those youtube videos appear to be all over, videos where they can "teach" you how to assemble your own free electricity generator. I normally wouldn't pay much attention to them but in the comment section you can see many people believing them. I'd think that with easy access to information/education with the internet and many devices, something I didn't have back then when I was in high school, people would be more able to spot false information from people who are most likely just trying to monetize their channel. Energy bills are getting crazy for many so I guess that's why I'm seeing those videos. Personally, I've always been very energy conscious so so far I haven't seen a mayor increase in my bill, hopefully I can keep it that way through the winter

Update on this, yesterday evening, youtube's algorithm showed me even videos where they can teach you how to make solar panels with old CDs, I know it sounds like a joke..... I hope it just is like that and not really trying to make us believe is possible. I hope internet resources and technological are being well utilized  in the education system, and it's just me thinking people can believe some youtubers crazy idea 🙂

It's up there with all those ridiculous adverts trying to sell plug in heaters that defy the laws of thermodynamics.

This heater will save you 70% because it's sooo efficient. Erm electric heaters are 100% efficient, but it's probably actually better to just go back to incandescent lights and atleast for the same 700w you don't have to sit in the dark

Apparently it's not enough they publish these videos, they are now publishing shorts on YT as well hehe.... this one of 100% completely homemade from scratch was published today (some 4 hours ago)

I bet science teachers in high schools are having a blast debunking these videos to their students😁. I think the focus here from these influencers/youtubers is to aim to younger generations now with very short videos..... too shorts in my view to even explain a scam video.... hmm or maybe that's the idea 🤔😅

Did I see that right?

Using battery’s to spin a generator to power a light bulb that could have been powered far better by the batteries directly?

fair play there generator works to a point but free power it is not

Yeap, the battery is always hidden somewhere in the assembly, usually the second motors.

Mugs actually believe it's all free energy, what we can safely say is the YouTube channel definitely makes money when you see how many views they get.
