Top marks for sticking with it, don't expect you'd get a better understanding with dealer investigation. 

Think you've shown the engine is sound now - it's not capable of random behaviour.

That's usually the goto every so often in hire letting go so it snaps back into the recoil and crosses over it's self on the odd occasion splits the rotor disc cutters especially🧑‍🏭👷‍♂️👨‍🔧👍🏻
