Hi

Got a Husqvarna T540xp mk1 and i cant figure out what's up with it 🤷‍♂️

When you start it up you have to use the choke everytime amd it'll start and run but after a minute it cuts out even if you hold the revs it dies 🤦‍♂️ any suggestions as to what it can be looked at the carb and its just loads of wires

The MK1 was prone to the impulse line coming off. This is under the air box and in between it and where the recoil rope comes out of the cover.

Other than that, the metering diaphragm can bag out but check the pump diaphragm and gauze strainer as well .

It sounds like lack of fuel and that points to the gauze strainer. If it is plugged, flush the fuel tank as well.
