If you have a log deck , with powered chains  , that move the logs forward to the firewood processor infeed conveyor ,have you any idea of the type, gauge of chain that is fitted on your log deck. I ask ,as considering making  a powered log deck so wondering what type of chains are used so I can get prices for it as well as the sprockets that it runs around. Thanks for any info.

I am thinking of either making one up upgrading the kelfri to chain drive.

Old style muck spreader chains, they were a 3-4" pitch. Makes such as JF, an old one could be a good donor for sprockets etc.
