I regret not keeping the Escort I built in 1975  Mk 1 RS bodyshell brand new in grey primer from Ford AVO for £270 fitted with 3 litre V6 and overdrive gearbox from a Gilbern RS brakes etc.  Sold the bodyshell in 1990 to a grasstrack racer from Skegness for £50!  Engine and drivetrain still going strong in a Dutton Phaeton

Well I never realised that I was a Gary Boy, had to look it up!  But you are correct, I did have a loud stereo blasting out Jimi Hendrix and Rory Gallagher!  Had to be loud due to the two straight through exhausts ending with a pair of Peco silencers

Much like a Barry boy, a Gary boy drives around in a car (usually some old model they bought second hand) with the music pumped up so loud that it shakes

The Larringtons still farm at Wolferton I believe.

We used to farm near Lynn as well, but on the South side.  On a clear day like today, I can see Wolferton from the top of the Lincolnshire Wolds. I did not know the family, but father may have.  Do not know if they are related to the Larringtons of trailer and hydraulics near Boston.

Not that I’m aware of Bill.
