Basically when new , the blades are 100mm in diameter and can be ground down until the diameter is 90mm.

If you look at the large face of a new disc blade you will see a 5mm ring around the circumference  , when this is no longer visible the blades are at the end of their life.

I’ve still got about 98mm circumference at the widest point on this one Jase - should sharpen ok then you’re saying?

The design of the cutting blade on the Greenmech machines is genius but the solution for re-sharpening the cutters can be a headache if you don't know someone with a cylindrical grinders or you don't possess a Greenmech Disk Blade Sharpener. We have been sharpening these cutters for many decades on our CNC lathes using special ceramic inserts that keep the cutting edge cool, super sharp at the correct angle, and balanced to within a few thou of an inch (a hair on your head) keeping the full cutting system balanced.
