Log Splitter has lost power

new to this site and I have the same log splitter, I have a problem with it, no force and jerking when advancing forward, can anyone give me any ideas please.

i would google hydraulic repair type places near you and take ram there - they can test/strip to examine usually quickly.   then if its seals match up new ones or if more cost effective a new ram.   

 

had ram seals done on my one which i had literally no info on just by getting blacksmith to strip and send info to his hydraulic supplier, got better grade seals and happy days

I expect the ram is leaking and passing the seals inside . As said above better quality seals will probably transform it as they have probably been weeping for a while
