Roof mount Valtra wanted

Im looking to buy a Valtra tractor with a roof or jake mounted crane. All  options considered

This is only our experience but for what it’s worth….

 

We we’re looking for a Valtra/Botex and crane fed chipper setup for a couple of years, looked all over, private sales, various dealerships etc…and in the end Ian Brown from Jas P Wilson found us the unit we bought. It is just what we were after, and while I’m sure we cool have found the same cheaper elsewhere, they have been brilliant sorting out any issues we’ve had since buying it. In our experience, a great company to buy from. Anyway, point being even if they don’t have what your after right now might be worth a call to them in case something comes up?

Wot sort of money ( ball park, as i realise be a fair it of variation depending on tractor type/crane size) does it cost to roof mount a crane on a valmet?

 

Do people not bother to forestry guard them so much anymore?

Seen a few picks online of some cracking looking set ups but no guarding round the cab
