Hi Wood Wizard ,

Not at the moment unfortunately - we are currently selling our machines as complete set ups although customer feedback is coming in that some of our TP38 users would like to combine the smaller units with the bigger log deck which you can load with a forklift or telehandler (so will get in some separate's for next time)

Happy to order you one in (we are placing another order in a few weeks) however if you are in a rush for it  - I believe another UK supplier "Crytec" sells the same log lifter as ours as a separate unit for somewhere around £1500 inc vat.

Direct message me if your not in a massive rush and I will organise one for you at a great price 🙂

Hope this helps

Ian

Hi Andy,

Good to hear from you

Yes our machines are manufactured by Rima - a long respected Chinese machinery producer.

However as discussed in my post to Doobin our machines are not the Standard off the peg version

We have made some improvements to our imported machines.

It sounds like you are located close to Rock machinery and so as you joining in the "gang up on Ian" debate I think if you do decide to buy a "Chinesium" machine as you refer to them -  then Rock machinery are certainly located much closer to you.

I wish you the best

Kind regards

Ian

Everyone and their dog claims to have an uprated version of the Rimi when they're caught out flogging the same machines. I assume you have proof of the claimed upgrades to justify the massive mark-up? I can but the RM500 for less than you're selling this basic machine.

Why you think Im located close to Rock I have no idea?

Hi Andy,

Friday night really ? - nothing better to do?

What your doing is known as trolling and its a little rude.

As your disrespecting me, my company (or both) - I will take the time to stop relaxing with my family and respond to your thread.

1./ I think your located close to Rock Machinery because underneath your name - your Location states "Angus" which is in Scotland. Rock machinery are also based in Scotland.

2./ When you see a price of a Chinese machine on a website - that's not the actual price of purchase,  you need to get your purchased product shipped from the place of origin back to the UK. To do this you need to organise a shipping contractor to collect your goods (a competent haulier is an expensive additional cost) - and adding to this if your not buying a container or multiple container loads of product then your shipping fees would be literally extortionate as a "part container load" which is known as LCL costs a lot more.....

Since Covid -  As I am sure you have read - shipping fees have increased by up to 800% - which means importing is now really expensive and unless you are buying multiple containers full of stock - which brings the production costs down a little which is the only way to make the machine cost effective for the Uk market (as the profit margins are incredibly slim).

3./  Finally Once your goods land in port you also have to pay the Uks 20% import tax on the goods your purchased  - Again rising up the costs and then you need to have your goods shipped to your location in the UK and then build them as they come flat packed.

So overall -  its certainly not as cheap or as easy as you think!!

Your claim of " I can buy the RM500 for less than you're selling this basic machine."  is ridiculous and inaccurate as our profit margins are incredibly small once you factor in all of the above and our running costs, which include our site, staff and the aftersales service Fox Wood Agricultural offer.

When you purchase a machine from us we deliver our customers goods to their site (which is factored into the purchase cost) and spend an hour or so (or as long as necessary) familiarizing the purchaser with how to use their machine safely and productively and talk them through the servicing routines (greasing, air filters etc)

We also offer a quality aftersales service and provide back up from our personnel -  who all originate from within the arb industry.

Finally you also made a claim that "everyone and their dog claims to have an uprated version of the Rimi"  that's certainly  an odd claim? - which Company or Man and his Dog are you referring to?  Please be specific.

What I can tell you is that our competitor machines have 150mm conveyor belts.

Our machines conveyor belts are 200mm wide on the infeed which makes positioning a log much easier on the infeed deck and 250mm outfeed conveyor whch allows a far more efficient discharge of the split wood as when wood travels out the splitter the wider outfeed conveyor does not get jammed up so easy.

Our processors ram is also new and slightly more powerful and therefore more efficient  - compare videos if you are genuinely interested.

For trees surgeons and other foresters who can see the benefits of owning one of our machines  - you are welcome to book in for a demonstration here at our West Sussex Forested Location.

Our staff will be more than happy to talk to interested parties and fire some wood through the machine with you so you can see how efficient our Woodsman Timber Processors really are !

Kindest

Ian
