I have a Vermeer miniskid, It has been the best purchase I have made for my business. Its now has close to 1000 hrs in three years and has definetly earnt its keep. I debated the purchase for months, but would recommend a Miniskid anyday. Boxxer are good too, just had no dealer back up when I was in the market for a unit. Now Greenmech have the dealership I would be more confident in buying one of them.

Greenmech have just thrown in the towel. I been told its such a great machine that some one else will take it on if not Boxer Themselves. I was disapointed because I have a Greenmech chipper and its been great. best Ive used.

Thanks again its interesting to see what people think.

ive been running the vermeer s600tx for a couple of years and can honestly say its one of the best bits of kit ive bought. Like some others i debated about buying it for quite a while but had it on demo for a week and it never went back. i will say though that there have been problems with the hydraulic pumps, both have been replaced on it now. Vermeer were very quick to sort out this problem and there was no cost to us so i will highly recommend thier customer service. The machine with the stanard bucket and the timber grab(which was recently stolen) came in at around 13k plus vat from memory.
