Just a quick question, when installing a new appliance ie a wood burner and new liner, are you supposed to do a pressure smoke test on the install or is a draw test acceptable. Not DIY but the professional doing the install.

Definitive answer is in Appendix E of building regulations Part J which is available online. Smoke test with stove and flue exit sealed and flue pre-warmed AIUI.
