Which stump grinder next!?

I have just got an SG40, I traded in my B37-110 for it......I'd only had it 11 months.very happy with the new machine.

Hodge, in your opinion you prefer the sg40 to the jo beau 37? Pros/cons for each?

The SG 40 is excellent, there are a couple of things I preferred on the JO Beau but overall the Bandit is excellent. The Razor Wheel is far better than green teeth, they cutter hold an edge longer and don't break as often, they are easier to sharpen too. The Bandit could do with the cutter being able to fold up out of the way like the Jo Beau did and also would be better if it had a deeper grind but I can manage. Overall the build quality on the Bandit is better in my opinion, apart from the access to one of the drive bearing being bloody annoying. This is one of the things that lets it down but it only takes a few mins to remove the cover to grease it, the other is the stupid petrol tank filler.......overall the Bandit is a better machine in my opinion.

We’ve got a remote grease nipple on ours hodge, makes life easy

Where did you get that please? That looks just the job

I ended up with the bandit zt1844 and I also added the remote grease line on all my hard to reach grease nipples, was super easy to do just screw cut to length and screw then in basically. I got mine from my local bearing supplier. Think I paid £12

We got ours fitted at Field and Forest Machinery when it was in for a service mate
