Hello all,

Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read this.

I've recently got my tickets. (Please see below)

NPTC 201, 202, 203 - Basic chainsaw maintenance, cross cutting and felling

"          306                   - Aerial tree rescue operations and climbing

"          308                   - Aerial cutting of trees with a chainsaw

"          327                   - Woodchipper

"          319                   - Brush cutter and powered pole pruner

In addition to this, First aid in forestry and hold driving license for (C1, C, BE, C1E, and CE)

NB: Will complete Units 305/306, 312, & 314 (Theory) in October.

I'm honest, on time and keen to get my hands dirty. I'm used to working in small to large teams. Greatly, understand the importance of not being a dick and pulling your own weight.

Being transparent, having only recently obtained my tickets. My tree climbing and aerial cutting needs practise. However, keen to get exposure and guidance. Learning from those who are willing to teach where safe and applicable on the job. (Appreciate the priority of the job and where this wont be applicable)

Happy to work on the ground and learn the basics. Learning how to use new machinery and do various different job roles that help get the job done smoothly and efficiently.

I have my own PPE which is in date/hold correct documentation for said PPE. (Including climbing gear)

I'm currently in full time employment. However, pro active and aim to use my weekends and long periods (Anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks) of leave to graft and gain experience.

I'm currently in the South West (Plymouth/Tavistock/Okehampton way) However, can fluctuate from those to East Sussex. (If required, when I have long periods off work)

Thank you again, for taking the time to read this.

If you have any questions please feel free to message me.

*EDIT*

If anyone has any points of contact or people of relevance, happy to engage and talk to them too!

Good first post Mags.

How old are you and can you drive are things people might like to know.

Good luck.

Hello, thanks for your response Mick. Appreciate it!

I'm 25 (However, my hairline says otherwise!) Yes, I can drive "hold driving license for (C1, C, BE, C1E, and CE)".
