which do you prefer? alloy or the carbon gecko spikes

I prefere the carbons but most people i have spoken to see them as a gimmick even though they have never worn a pair ! True there is complaints of the side strap slipping out,but is very easily solved by undoing the gaff and re tightening with a bit of the strap under it.

carbon geckos are great, had mine 2 1/2 yearsor there abouts, solved the problem of the slippy straps with a coupole of cable ties, but reckon im going to give your method a go matty
