What price are people getting for wood chip in the Northwest?

Just wondering what price folks are getting for wood chip in the Northwest? 

 

We are located Barnoldswick on the Lancashire / Yorkshire border and will be looking to produce more chip.

 

I've seen some rubbish offers out there as low as 4.00 per ton. Is there anywhere or anyone that pays a decent price?

 

A ton of chip must be easily near 3 cube of chip so prices are taking the piss.

 

Looking for somewhere within 30 miles from base etc

Not a problem. Don't know their setup, they just come to the shop now and then

I take mine to them if I'm in the area £15 a tonne, great if working near but it's a bit far for a landy full....[emoji6]
