Nasty looking bit of wire there mate! They had obviously run out of stakes when they were fencing:biggrin: What will the boards go to make? or do you just sell them on as they are? Any ideas what they would be worth if you dont mind me asking? Those norwood saws are the dogs! A chap that i supply with timber has one which i was very impressed with when i went to see it in action:001_cool:

haha yeah all the oaks we have been milling for this farm were felled from hedge rows, so its expected. All this is for a barn convertion, we've done most of it already and most of its in place, all this was for the staircase.

Yeahh still learning how to use this mill really, but its going bloody brilliant!

you ever though about investing in chainsaw chaps?

 

better safe than sorry.

i wear chainsaw trousers all the time, but my granddad doesnt and never will, hes stuborn like that lol
